Our Attic Felt Like a Sauna Before Installing AtticFoil™!

Our attic felt like a sauna before we installed AtticFoil™. But since we installed the attic foil, it is absolutely amazing what a difference it did in temperatures. Our attic was totally unfinished and so I started researching about it online and on YouTube, and then I found AtticFoil™. I heard about the product through another company, but the way they were doing the installation was that they cover the beams so afterwards we couldn’t use the attic as a storage space, which is not what we wanted.

We basically installed it ourselves (my 76 year old dad – yeah, he’s like MacGyver, my husband and me). We watched the YouTube videos, went out and got all the supplies (staple guns, staples, etc.) from Home Depot and it was very easy to install. We bought 2 rolls of foil and almost used both of them. The heat from the roof literally bounces back due to the foil. It was super easy to install. We watched the YouTube video a few times and it went as smooth as possible. The material is also very durable, not some cheap stuff you buy at Home Depot that tears.

The best investment for our attic, we are very happy with it and we highly recommend it! RESULTS – Since we installed the foil the temperature in the attic is almost the same temperature as any other room in the house (like +2 degree difference). Now it feels just as pleasant in our attic, as anywhere else in the house.
