Precut the pieces according to the measured space and then install.

Use a pole or stick to push the foil back toward the soffits, but don't block them!

The foil unrolls and easily slides over your existing insulation.

The foil doesn't have to look pretty to flat to do its job.Cover as much as you can and overlap the pieces a couple of inches for the best results.

The pieces can be laid down horizontally or vertically - it doesn't affect how the foil works.

Some people will make clean cuts around obstacles for a flat fit. This is the T-cut, for it's shape.

Wide open areas can be covered with larger/longer sheets.

In a truss attic, you can use wider pieces of foil on the open areas like this one.

For the areas like this in a truss attic, the 26" wide foil is usually the best choice for fit.

You might have ductwork running above the insulation. If so, it should be covered too. If you use our product, the ducts should be sealed and insulated first.

If you have flooring in part of your attic, the foil goes right on top of the floor. Staple it down nice and flat and you can walk on it with no problem.
