Whether you’re re-roofing with a tile or metal roof or you’re building an addition, insulating a garage or shed, or building a workshop or store, we have the right radiant barrier for you! All of these products have our best pure aluminum radiant barrier foil on one side, which allows it to block 97% of radiant heat on that side. Which do I need? Perforated or Solid Products?
Using a perforated foil allows water vapor to pass through the foil layer and head toward your exhaust vents (powered or static) so the area can dry properly. If you’re in an extremely cold climate or looking specifically for a vapor barrier, then the solid products are for you. When using these products you should make sure the areas are sealed air tight since these products do not breathe and will not be able to dry out any moist air that gets between them.
